Do you know an outstanding high school musician who deserves recognition for his or her talent? Nominate an instrumentalist or vocalist for the Student Musician of the Month. We're looking for outstanding musicians from anywhere within Coconino County in grades 10, 11 or 12. High school-aged, home-schooled students are also eligible.
Each month an instrumentalist or vocalist will be selected by a committee that includes FSO conductor Elizabeth Schulze. Winning students will be featured on our website, in the Daily Sun newspaper, announced from stage before an FSO concert and recognized at an annual banquet. Winners will also receive tickets to one of our symphony concerts for themselves and their parents.
Nomination forms can be downloaded here and sent to the office of the Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra at Post Office Box 122, Flagstaff, Arizona 86002. There is no deadline; applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
