Dear Friends of the Flagstaff Symphony,

First and foremost, we hope this message finds you well. Your health and safety are of the utmost importance to all of us at the Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra.

Following Federal and local guidelines, we regret to inform you that we have canceled the Choral Masters concert scheduled for Friday, April 17th, at Ardrey Memorial Auditorium on the NAU campus.

Simply, the Flagstaff Symphony exists because of you. The community’s continued support by purchasing tickets to concerts and giving generous donations is how the Flagstaff Symphony has continued to exist for 70 years. Truthfully, like many other non-profit organizations in our community, cancellations like this hit us hard. In an effort to preserve the Symphony during these unprecedented times, we’re asking that you consider making a donation to the FSO.

We hope you will visit our 70th Anniversary Campaign 70FOR70 for more information on how you can help.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to call the FSO Office at 928-774-5107 or email me directly at We want to be here for you the way you’ve been there for us all these years.

Thank you again for your understanding and patience during this challenging time and for your continued support of the FSO.

Please stay tuned to the FSO’s website and Facebook page for the most updated information on all future events.

Welcome to the Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra

Welcome to the 70th season of Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra! Wait until you hear what we have in store for you this season. With Maestro Charles Latshaw’s baton, the FSO has never sounded better!

From spooky (the Halloween Pops Show) to sublime (The Creation), this season’s lineup is indeed a celebration –

  • of the musicians and conductors who provide northern Arizona with top-notch music,
  • of the directors and staff who maintain the organization,
  • of the patrons, donors, sponsors and advertisers who sustain the program,
  • and especially of you, the audience, whose enthusiasm and support have made this all happen – for 70 years!

Founded in 1950, the FSO is a regional orchestra of some 65 professional musicians who perform new works as well as the best-loved classical repertoire.  Now in its 70th season, it is the largest and most active nonprofit performing arts organization in northern Arizona.
