Concert Volunteers

Concert volunteers make our live performance events successful. Customer service is key and it goes a long way when handing out programs, helping patrons find their seats and greeting concertgoers. Working with staff from Ardrey Auditorium, or Pepsi Amphitheater FSO volunteers truly make a difference in the experience of a concert-goer. The best perk is getting a complimentary concert ticket for each shift worked!

Beyond the concert hall performances, the FSO hosts numerous exciting events throughout the year. The FSO is known for community gatherings like the Gala, Sippin a wine event, the Beethoven Challenge, and a golf tournament. Are you passionate about event planning and community outreach? Each special event has its own committee of volunteers! If a commitment to join a committee isn’t up your alley, we always need volunteers for the day of the event. Reach out to info@flagstaffsymphony.org to find out more on how to get involved with special events!

Administrative Projects

The FSO always needs help delivering flyers around town, which is great if you enjoy fresh air and being active! In the office, the FSO has mailing projects which would include stuffing envelopes, creating labels, and writing notes to patrons. From time to time the FSO needs help with computer tasks like database management and content creation. These are just a few examples of what a volunteer can do to help the FSO run smoothly during the weeks leading up to a concert.

If you’re interested in joining our team of volunteers, call our office at 928.774.5107, or email info@flagstaffsymphony.org.

Volunteer Internships

Work with a long-standing non-profit in our community, build skills and gain experience. A 3 to 6 month long internship is a phenomenal way to expand your resume and take the next step in your career.

Flagstaff Symphony Guild

This dynamic and successful auxiliary of the Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra was organized almost 60 years ago to provide support for FSO through volunteer service and fundraising.

The group socializes, strategizes, and plans fundraisers, events, and social gatherings.

The Guild’s annual program includes hosting the annual Flagstaff Home Tour, sponsoring the popular Lollipop Concert for children in the winter holiday season, and providing dinner for the orchestra at the July 4th concert.
