Lori Pearlmutter and Leonard Wood have both performed Modern Dance professionally in their past, just never together. Meeting originally at Flagstaff Medical Center as Physical Therapists, Lori is currently the Quality Manager at North Country Healthcare and Leonard is a PT at the newly opened Rehabilitation Hospital of Northern Arizona. Highly engaged in public health concerns and volunteering their time in Haiti and Nicaragua, Lori and Leonard use their skills to give back to their communities.
Lori and her husband Gary are currently the Summit Chairs for United Way, and Lori had previously served on the board of the YMCA, Northland Family Help Center, and several national Physical Therapy Associations. Keeping physically active with her husband of 31 years, Gary, and her 2 children, Lori considers herself a foodie who loves public speaking. Leonard met his wife, Linda, in a library, which may be kismet due to a perhaps ill-timed stop at the library on the way to the hospital for his own birth.
Funny and fun-loving, Lori and Leonard are taking advantage of the Dancing for Our Stars invitation to show us their skills in a blast from the past and raise some money for a worthy cause. Welcome to the dance floor, Lori and Leonard!
